The accused were printing these fake notes of Rs 500 on Rs 10 stamp paper. He had purchased this stamp paper from Mirzapur. All the notes had the same serial number. Both the accused were going to introduce new fake notes of Rs 10,000 in Ramgarh market of Sonbhadra, where the police caught them.
Police say they found 20 fake notes of Rs 500. By looking at these notes, no one can identify whether they are fake or genuine, unless the person looking at them knows all the features of the original note. These people used to print advertisements of mineral water by profession. Later, he also learned to print fake notes by watching it from YouTube. Police have seized an Alto car, equipment used for making notes, a laptop, a printer and 27 stamp papers from them.
