Lenovo launches Windows 10 laptop for just Rs 14,999

Lenovo has launched a new affordable IdeaPad 100S laptop in India. Interested customers will be able to buy it for Rs 14,999. It is exclusively available on e-commerce site Snapdeal. It is based on Windows 10 operating system which is the biggest feature of the laptop at this price.

Let us remind you that the IdeaPad 100S was launched by Lenovo at IFA 2015. It was introduced along with the IdeaPad and Yoga tablet. It is worth noting that the features of the variant launched in India are slightly different.

Lenovo IdeaPad 100S has an 11.6 inch HD (1366×768 pixels) TN display. Equipped with 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor, this laptop has Intel HD for graphics. The inbuilt storage is 32 GB and can be expanded via microSD card. 2 GB RAM is available for multitasking.

Other features of Lenovo IdeaPad 100S include Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port. Its battery is claimed to last up to 8 hours. The laptop has a 0.3 megapixel webcam and a standard keyboard.

The IdeaPad 100S weighs 1 kg and measures 292x202x17.5 mm. The company is emphasizing on Dolby Advanced Audio technology. Its silver color variant will be available in the market and it comes with a 1 year warranty.
