Honor 90 5G :

Design and Display We reviewed the Emerald Green colour option of the Honor 90 5G. The design of the phone impresses at first sight and shows that Honor has prepared this phone very well. The 6.7-inch display is not a small screen, yet this smartphone feels like a compact device and is lightweight.
This is possible by the design of the phone. The back of the Honor 90 5G is crafted from glass and polycarbonate frames. Its rear design is called the dual-ring camera system design by the company, whose biggest highlights are the camera bump. Honor has placed two different camera bumps in the top left of this phone, which looks like a ring. There is glossy trim around the bump.

All rear camera sensors are fitted into both bumps. They look quite attractive and all the people we showed this phone to all the eyes of everyone stopped on the dual-ring camera bump.
The rest of the rear part of the phone has also been used by Honor very well. Such dotted patterns are installed, which shine in the light. These dotted patterns do not allow the phone to slip by hand and protect it from fingerprints. We used the phone for several days without a transparent TPU case.
There was no fingerprints in the back. Another feature of the design of the Honor 90 5G is its curved edges. Due to these curved corners, the phone easily fits in the hand and can be used for a long time with one hand.
The frame of the phone is glossy and balances with the design. There are many highlights of Honor 90 5G in this frame. Such as the power button and volume rocker are on the right side of the phone. Their positioning was fine for me. During use, it did not happen that the finger went on the volume rocker instead of the power button.
The top frame of the phone is almost empty. There’s only a secondary microphone port. The bottom of the phone is quite busy. There is a ‘SIM tray’ in the bottom left side. After that a hole for the ‘microphone’. ‘Type-C port’ in the middle and ‘single speaker grille’ in the right side of the edge. There is no option to install an SD card in Honor 90 5G. If it were, it would become the plus point of the device. The absence of a dual speaker setup is bad, although the single speaker grille works fine, but their sound gets drowned out in the crowd.
There is also no 3.5mm headphone jack, which can be missed by many. The bezels of the Honor 90 5G with a curved display are thin on three sides, the bottom bezel is slightly thicker, but the overall design impresses. With just 7.8mm thickness and 183 grams of weight, this smartphone is a good looking smartphone in the mid-premium range. advertisementThe next big feature of the Honor 90 5G is its display.

This is an aspect that the company has promoted a lot. The phone has a 6.7-inch quad-curved floating display, which supports refresh rate up to 120Hz. It is an AMOLED panel, which offers a resolution up to 2664×1200 pixels. The peak HDR brightness of the phone is 1600 nits, which is quite impressive.
The display of Honor 90 5G is HDR10+ certified and it is HDR certified for Netflix. Honor has said that its smartphone has used 3840Hz PWM dimming technology. There is no risk to the eyes, that is,
you can use the smartphone for a long time. The display of Honor 90 5G is effective if seen from a common user’s perspective. It has a punch hole in the top center and the edges are bent, which is in trend in mid-premium range phones nowadays. From indoor to outdoor, the phone’s display was adjusting according to my eyes.
It was bright and clear even in the sun. At night, it was very low in the dark and I used to read news articles comfortably. I never had to manually adjust the display during so many days of use.
