If you are an Android user, then you must be aware of Google’s cloud storage service. The company provides cloud storage service called Google One under which the user can take Google One subscription plan. This plan can be taken at a price of Rs 130 per month. Now the company has introduced its lite version (via) which is being called Google One Lite. This new subscription plan is much cheaper than the basic plan.
The company has launched Google One Lite at a price of Rs 59 per month. In this, the user will get 30GB storage every month. That is, this is a cheap option for those users who need more space than Google’s free 15GB storage. If the user needs up to 30GB space, then he will not need to spend Rs 130 per month. He will get 30GB storage for just Rs 59 per month. However, this plan is currently available for limited users. The company has started rolling it out slowly and it is currently available for limited users.
The Google One Lite plan was first seen in the Google Photos app in July. The 30GB space available in the plan can be used for Gmail, Photos and Drive. Another thing worth noting about the plan is that the user cannot share this plan with any other user. At the same time, the user can share the Google One Basic plan with 5 other people. That is, you can also share 100GB space among other users. But this facility is not provided in the 30GB plan. That is, you will not be able to share it with family, friends, etc.
Like other plans of the company, in this too the user has been given a trial period of 1 month. Apart from this, the company has not yet informed about any arrangement like annual subscription for Google One Lite plan. Because other plans are also available in annual plans which give the user up to 26 percent savings.
