The laptops now feature Touch Bar, Touch ID, True Tone Retina display, and Apple T2 security chip. Apple said both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are part of the company’s Back to School promotion. The promotion applies to college students, their parents, faculty, staff, and home-school teachers. Apart from the education discounts mentioned above, the promotion also includes Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones.

Apple has officially discontinued the non-Retina MacBook Air which had an MRP of Rs 84,900 but was selling for Rs 60,000. This means the starting price of the MacBook Air will now be Rs 99,000.
