American devices maker Apple’s iPhone 16 series can be launched next month. Premium smartphones of this series can be assembled in the country for the first time. Apple has planned to shift a large part of its manufacturing in China. Under this plan, the manufacturing of the company’s smartphones can be increased in India.

There are reports that Apple has started training workers in its factories on a new manufacturing process. The company started manufacturing in the country in 2017 with the iPhone SE. After this, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 were also made in the country. According to a Bloomberg report, manufacturing of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be important for Apple. This will be the first time that the company will manufacture its iPhone Pro models outside China. In China, these smartphones are made by Apple’s contract manufacturers Foxconn, Pegatron and Wistron.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus of the iPhone 15 series introduced last year were also made in the country. Recently, tipster Sonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) shared the color options of the iPhone 16 Pro on social media platform X along with images of dummy units. These colors include white, gray gold and black. This image shows the diagonally placed rear cameras in the iPhone 16 Pro. The new gold color may replace the blue titanium color of the iPhone 15 Pro in the iPhone 16 Pro.

Earlier, tipster Instant Digital had said in a post on China’s messaging platform Weibo that the iPhone 16 Pro models could be given a battery with higher capacity. The iPhone 16 Pro of this series can have a 3,577 mAh battery and the iPhone 16 Pro Max can have a 4,441 mAh battery. However, the company has not revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming iPhone series. The iPhone 16 may have a 6.1-inch OLED display. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus can get the A18 Bionic chip and the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max can get the A18 Pro chip. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max can have support for 40 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging using MagSafe.
